Please note below points
-These requirements are open to only for USA, Canada, UK, South Africa Nationality.
-Candidates should be experienced in Facilities Management.
-Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery shall not be considered.
-Experience in Multi-National companies & multi-cultural environment preferred.
-Location Yanbu
Scope of Work:
-Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments, design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors.
-Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other H&S;assessments to support the KAUST H&S;Management System.
-Perform site inspections to establish H&S;presence, provide support and check that working practices are safe and comply with relevant legislation, KAUST Policies and Procedures.
-Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
-Keep records of inspection and or audit findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
-Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards.
-Lead in-house training about health and safety issues and risks.
-Assists in the design and implementation of procedures and systems to recognize and eliminate health and safety hazards.
-Assists in developing, improving and or evaluating the effectiveness of existing and proposed programs and campaigns by following established processes.
-Perform administrative duties associated with the specific duties of the position.
-Provide assistance and advice on H&S;issues to make recommendations to stakeholders.
-Lead in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
-Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees, contractors and other interested parties.
-Effectively communicate lessons learned throughout KAUST and monitor implementation of countermeasures by all affected parties.
-Perform other related duties as assigned R&F;Health and Safety Supervisor or designated person.
-Raise the profile of health and safety at KAUST.

-Ability to read and interpret H&S;codes, standards, procedures, regulations etc.
-Proficiency in English written and spoken .
Qualifications:
-Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in HSE, engineering, or business; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
-Driver’s License required;
-International certification in an applicable HSE area preferred i.e. CSP, NEBOSH, CIH, etc. .
Experience:
- 7-12 plus years of experience of HSE consulting, auditing, management systems and compliance experience.
Additional Requirement:
-This job requires a person to be physically fit, occasionally work at height, climb ladders, and move around between facilities can be outdoors and indoors and work in noisy environments.
-The use of protective clothing may be required.
-A willingness to occasionally work overtime, for example during emergencies and during KAUST events.
-Follow KAUST H&S;rules and immediately report or intervene in unsafe conditions.
-Responds decisively whilst maintaining composure, to changing needs and environments.
-Persistent, resilient, patient and has perspective.
-Committed to the vision of KAUST.
-Displays a positive attitude and maintain a high level of professional integrity.
